On Wednesday 1st December, SOWAP hosts a UK parliamentary reception to highlight the importance of soil and water protection (both on the farm and its off farm effects) in relation to the EU Water Framework Directive and the First Soils Action Plan for England.

Representatives from all areas of the project will be on hand to answer questions from politicians and regulators at an informal 'drop-in' session at the Houses of Parliament.

This event forms part of the project's communication strategy and a post event report will be published on the SOWAP website in the near future.
